Adventure Diary - May 2022
It’s been another exciting month here at Global Adventure Challenges, with a brand new challenge departing along with three of our firm favourites! Our very first Trek Cuba challenge took place, along with our Inca Trail Trek, Trek the Grand Canyon challenge, and Three Peaks Trek. Trek Cuba
When: 6 – 15 May 2022
Where: Cuba
We were thrilled to set off on our very first Trek Cuba challenge this month! Starting off with a visit to Old Havana, our challengers spent 5 days trekking through Cuban countryside, stopping off at waterfalls and farms along the way. A morning of sightseeing in Trinidad then brought their adventure to a close! Thank you and well done to everyone who joined us – we can’t wait to return next May!

Trek the Grand Canyon
When: 7 – 14 May 2022
Where: USA
This breathtaking challenge took our trekkers to the awesome Grand Canyon National Park, where they followed a new trail every day! After a day exploring Oak Creek, our group split up to explore the Bright Angel Trail, South Kaibab Trail and the Grandview Trail on the next 3 days before reuniting to follow the Rim Trail on their last day. A massive well done to everyone who joined us!

Inca Trail Trek
When: 13 – 22 May 2022
Where: Peru
After more than 2 years away, we were delighted to finally be able to return to Peru to take on the Inca Trail Trek! Our group trekked through the Andes mountains, following the world-famous path to the ruins of the city of Machu Picchu. Congratulations to everyone who took part!

Three Peaks Trek
When: 20 - 22 May 2022
Where: UK
Our Three Peaks trekkers pushed their boundaries and conquered three of the UK’s highest mountains – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon – in one incredible weekend! The conditions were tough, but our challengers were tougher – thank you and congratulations to everyone who joined us for the challenge!

What’s Next?
June is set to be one of our busiest months of the year, with more than 15 challenges taking place all over the globe! We’ll be returning to some of our most iconic destinations for the first time in more than two years (hello Kilimanjaro!), along with plenty of adventures closer to home, including our Ben Nevis and Three Peaks Treks, London to Paris Cycle and more.
